Green Bakery was founded in 2013 and is headquartered in Taipei, Taiwan. Committedto using no eggs, dairy, honey, or any animal-derived ingredients, the bakery specializes in crafting high-quality plant-based desserts that blend French techniques with Asian flavors—offering creations that are both healthy and aesthetically refined.
Green Bakery has received investment from Wang Steak, Taiwan's largest restaurant group, and Ichizenken, a bakery chain with over 45 years of history. The brand has also collaborated with AVEDA, the Taipei Fine Arts Museum, the Forestry Bureau, and other institutions—showcasing the rich potential of plant-based cuisine.
Executive Chef Isabella Tsao has published books on plant-based desserts and continues to share exclusive techniques, support industry transformation, and advocate the “Plant Basics” philosophy.
